Welcome to The Rairaku Art Museum

Thank you very much for visiting our web site.

As we open "The Rairaku Museum,"we would like to introduce the Japanese traditional culture, relating to the Japanese dolls.

Do you know what "Hinamatsuri" (Girl's festival) and "Tango-no-sekku" (Boy's festival) are...?

They are holy and solemn events that most of Japanese people have experienced when they were baby. There are Japanese dolls or armor, decollated with some significant instrument for education.

These events are aimed for wishing children’s happiness and healthiness. Also, more importantly, the events take on a role to strengthen the family’s “Kizuna” (relationship).

The Rairaku Museum exhibits wonderful masterpieces of Junpei, Yoshimasa(aka: RAI), YASU, and Kohjin.

They are some of the best artists and their masterpieces are cherished by people from all over the world.

We look forward you to being interested in this Japanese traditional culture and Japanese dolls. Please feel free to visit our museum in Saitama, and witness the artists’ works of art!
